About Me!
My name is Ian Conrekas and I'm excited to share a little bit about myself with you. I am a 22-year-old college student from the greater Los Angeles area. I have been a Whittier local for almost my whole life. I am currently attending California State University Long Beach, where I am majoring in Public Relations. I've always had a passion for writing and communication, but it wasn't until I discovered my true calling in the field: brand management and social media marketing.
Aside from my professional pursuits, I also have a number of hobbies and interests that keep me busy.
My Mission
I love the idea of being able to help brands establish a positive relationship with their audience and get the media exposure they deserve. There's something incredibly rewarding about assessing a brand's unique features and creating plans and strategies for promoting them. Whether it's developing engaging content for social media or crafting compelling press releases, I believe that effective public relations can make all the difference in a brand's success.
For one, I love spending time outdoors; whether it's hiking or simply enjoying the sunshine. I also enjoy going to the gym, rock climbing and going to concerts, as well as spending quality time with close friends and family.
Overall, I'm a reliable, driven, and determined individual who is excited to see where my passion for public relations takes me. I love networking with other people and learning from new experiences. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better!
